Annual SABCC Picnic
Mark your calendars for the annual South Alabama British Car Club picnic. This year's extravaganza is Saturday, June 29th at Oscar Johnson Memorial Park in Silverhill, Alabama.
I had a tough time contacting the Silverhill city fathers (city mothers, too) so SABCC'ers Dick Bishop and Jon Gosnell stepped up and visited city hall on behalf of the club and made the reservation for the day. The city has implemented a fee to use the pavilion, but it allows us to stay as long as we wish (at least until from 9AM to 4PM).
The club will provide hamburgers, hot dogs buns and condiments and we are asking the members to bring side dishes to complete the menu. We expect to begin serving around noon, but come early and enjoy the company of your fellow British car enthusiasts.
Oscar Johnson Memorial Park is located on Baldwin County Highway 104 just east of Silverhill.
