After a brisk drive in the Mini, I looked under the bonnet to make sure everything was in order. The heater control valve was weeping. Dang. Supplier A wanted $59.95, supplier B wanted a little less. Great British Car Parts wanted $49.95. Sold! Now I've got to get the new heater valve on before warm weather sets in. Huh?
