From Triumph to Tragedy

The last Triumph made - the Acclaim - has been written about on these pages in the past, but I ran across this UK market television ad that I wanted to share. 

Briefly, the Acclaim was Triumph's "last chance saloon" based on the Honda Civic (or Ballade in some markets). It was the first fruits gained from the British Leyland/Honda partnership that eventually brought cars to Rover and MG.
